Advisor to M1 in the sale to TDC/Telmore

M1, a Danish provider of mobile telephony and mobile broadband, was sold to TDC/Telmore.

Since being founded in 2003, M1 has focused on being among the cheapest and most innovative providers of mobile subscriptions on the market, while providing the industry’s highest quality. M1 had a turnover of more than DKK 100 m in 2009 with a customer base above 100,000, equivalent to a market share of approx. 2 %.

TDC is Denmark’s largest telecommunications company, with a leading position in the market for fixed and mobile telephony, internet and data communications and cable TV. M1 will remain an independent company within the TDC Group and the management of M1 will continue unchanged.

ATRIUM advised the shareholders of M1 on the sales process, including contact to and negotiations with several of the largest telecommunications companies on the Danish market.
