Financial advisor to OMX in relation to the acquisition of Findata

ATRIUM has acted as financial advisor to OMX in connection with its acquisition of the Swedish company Findata.

Findata has developed the to date most comprehensive database with financial data for Nordic listed companies, including company descriptions, financial data and stock exchange announcements. Findata also provides tailor made stock exchange indices for banks, asset managers etc.

With the acquisition of Findata, OMX strengthened its position within information services. Findata had a strong market position in Sweden, and the intention was to distribute Findata’s services and products in the rest of the Nordics as a supplement to OMX’ own products and services.

ATRIUM advised on valuation and due diligence and participated in the negotiations.
