Financial advisor to K.W. Bruun & Co in the sale of K.W. Bruun Import and K.W. Bruun NxT to Global Auto Holdings Limited

K.W. Bruun & Co is a Danish family-fund-owned group with activities in the automotive industry and a history dating back to 1914. The group consists of five divisions and employs approximately 900 people in Denmark and Sweden. K.W. Bruun Import and K.W. Bruun NxT represent the group’s core automotive activities within import and distribution of cars and spare parts.

K.W. Bruun Import is one of the largest car importers in the Nordic region, importing cars and spare parts for Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel, and Mitsubishi in Denmark and Sweden, as well as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Hongqi, and Voyah in Denmark alone. K.W. Bruun NxT develops digital mobility business concepts within the companies Bilabonnement and auto.nu and owns the workshop chain Quickpoint. The combined activities generated a turnover of 10 billion DKK in 2023.

Global Auto Holdings Limited (GAHL) is an international automotive retail group comprising the subsidiaries Alpha Auto Group in North America and Lookers in the UK. GAHL operates 164 franchise dealerships, representing more than 40 of the world’s leading car brands across the US, Canada, the UK, and Ireland. With GAHL as the new owner, the ambition is for K.W. Bruun Import to not only strengthen its position nationally, but also to realize an international expansion strategy. The acquisition of K.W. Bruun Import and K.W. Bruun NxT marks an important step for GAHL in establishing itself as a car importer in Europe, and the K.W. Bruun companies will serve as strategic foothold for further consolidation and expansion.
